SEEK HIS KINGDOM: "How can you believe if you accept praise from one another, yet make no effort to obtain the praise that comes from the only God?"

Father, I come before you as a sinful daughter. I forget all the time, and maybe this is because I do not take up your Word daily. But Lord, I always try to seek praise from others, I seek to gain riches in the world. Even though I proclaim myself as a Christian, Lord I do not take up my daily cross. I fail to love you I fail to seek you and I fail to love others as you have commanded. Lord you say in John to remain in you and you will remain in me. You say in John 14:21 "Whoever has my commands and obeys them he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him." Lord then it is so easy to be overcome by sin and forget your sacrifice, forget your deep love for me. Lord I want to love you with all my heart with all my soul and most importantly with all my mind. Lord I am blind Lord and I stumble in the darkness. But Lord you have reached out to me, you have called to me in the darkest of my depths and Lord I want to come to you.

Lord help to me be always humble and always serving. Lord help me not to do your works for the sake of receiving praise from men but to delight you. Lord I want to delight you in everything I do so help me GOD.

"I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater thngs than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in m name, and I will do it."

Lord I ask that you give me the heart to love. Lord I ask that you give me the hands willing to serve and the feet willing to travel to wherever you go. Lord give me the eyes to see and Lord give me the strength to seek you even when it's hard. Lord I also pray that you guide me not only in my spiritual walk but also in my physical life. Lord I am without direction and am overcome with laziness. Lord I pray that you revitalize me and show me your purpose, if not now, soon. So that I may stop wasting my time repeating my mistakes but continue to live with a purpose and a path that gives all praise and glory to you. :)
